Summer fun

Colt's had a blast this summer throwing rocks in the creek, at birthday parties, swimming and riding the ponies.

Graduation

 After many long years we finally have everybody graduated. Good Job Lyssa and Adam.

It's SPRING!!!!

Colt got a new car for Easter. It is the coolest toy ever. He loves that the door opens and closes and the car goes forward and reverse.
We went to Boise for my birthday. While we were there we stopped to check out their zoo. I think Colts favorite part was the monkeys, but the tiggers were fun too. Hoo Hoo Hoo Hooooo!!!
Easter at Grandma's was lots of fun. There was an egg hunt, a pinata, and a egg walk. Colt had a blast.

Modeling

Alyssa needed a model for her photography class and ask us if we would help her out. These are some of the pics. She does a really good job and is even going to State for photography sometime this spring.

Smartie Pants

Colter has really impressed me with all the things he has learned in the last few months. Some of my favorites are spelling his name (he forgets his L about half the time), counting to 10, telling me what all the animals say, using the potty, and singing songs; I'll sing part of a song and let him fill in the blanks. He will sing the Mickey Mouse clubhouse song, twinkle twinkle, and he sings Jesus wants me for a Sunbeem and jumps at all the appropriate parts. It's hilarious. I'll have to try and get a recording of it.
It's funny to see how he thinks and his problem solving. Here is an example. The other day we were sitting down and his ball pop toy was switched off. He went in the other room and got batteries and pliers because he thought that the batteries must be dead. We were like yep those are batteries, until we watched him try and put the pliers in the holes for the screws, and shove the batteries the holes.
I think with as smart as he is, its only a matter of time until all my child proofing is for naught. He has already figured out how to get the yard stick I put through the drawers out so he can get a rag. I have also seen him eyeballing the lock button on the fridge. I just cross my fingers that by the time he can reach it he outgrows the desire to dump water all over my floors. Oh well...

Dadddy's boots

I had some really cute videos but my internet connection has been being really slow and I haven't been able to upload them. So... here are some cute pictures instead. These are Greg's boots, and they are just about to tall for Colter's legs. I walked into the back room and he had them on. When I first found him he had one on backward.

Santa Suit

My sister gave me this Santa suit last year. I thought I'd try it on Colt and maybe get some pictures for my Christmas card, and he loved it. He didn't want to take it off once we had taken the pictures and threw a fit when I did. Now he asks to put it on nearly everyday.
